Movie Slate Sequence – Bounty Scene 21 Take 3

This NFT is part of a series where of original artwork created from the movie Bounty.  Bounty was the first feature film directed by Jared Isham and produced by Stage Ham Entertainment.  It was released worldwide in 2009 and is now available to stream on various platforms throughout the world.

This exclusive is a one-of-a-kind original that includes the slate sequence from Scene 21 Take 3.  If you are new to filmmaking, the slate is used to allow for a sync point between the audio and picture.  Most film productions record sound separately from the picture so this is a very important part of the process.  The slate is labeled according to what scene is being filmed and the take.  Each scene ads a letter in order to determine when the camera set up changes.  Scene 21 would indicate that this is the first setup for scene 21.  The takes are how many times the scene is recorded with that camera set up.  This particular shot was the first “official” take of the movie.  Takes 1 and 2 were not slated as the rehearsals were recorded and called takes 1 and 2.

This NFT is the sequence of the slate clap before the scene is recorded.  These sections typically never see the light day which makes this a great opportunity to own what is typically left on the cutting room floor.  This will be the only NFT available for Scene 21 Take 3.  This is one in a series that will include each slated shot from the production and will not exceed the number of slates that were recorded on set.
